Job Title: Community Care and Court of Protection Solicitor

Job Type: Full-time

Hours: 35 hours per week

Location: Remote ( flexible working arrangements available)

About Us: TV Edwards LLP is a leading law firm specializing in community care and Court of Protection law. We are committed to providing exceptional legal services to our clients and are seeking an experienced solicitor to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyzing complex legal matters and advising clients on the best course of action
  • Communicating effectively with clients and ensuring compliance with client care requirements
  • Dealing with routine correspondence, negotiations, and advocacy
  • Ensuring that all work is conducted in accordance with the Legal Aid Agency's requirements
  • Staying up-to-date with general legal developments, particularly in the specialist field of community care and Court of Protection law
  • Undertaking administrative tasks to ensure the smooth functioning of the department and efficient casework and billing
  • Providing supervision and reporting to supervisors as required
Requirements:
  • At least one year of post-qualification experience in community care and/or Court of Protection law
  • Excellent oral and telephone skills
  • Experience of Legal Aid funding and using CCMS
