We are seeking a skilled and mechanically minded individual to join our team as a Mobile Plant Operative / Loading Shovel Driver. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining our loading shovels, as well as other mobile plant equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate and maintain loading shovels and other mobile plant equipment
  • Feed and operate the aggregate screening plant
  • Conduct daily inspections of the loading shovel and wash as needed
  • Ensure the plant and site are maintained in a clean and tidy condition
  • Assist shift supervisors with stock control and monitoring
  • Maintain a high level of awareness for health, safety, welfare, and security matters
Requirements:
  • ITSSAR or equivalent qualifications in the operation of loading shovels
  • Mechanical aptitude and practical skills
  • Competent with other forms of mobile plant, such as FLT, MEWP, and Telehandlers
  • Experience in a manufacturing site, preferably in the waste, aggregates, or concrete environment
