About the Role

RPS is seeking an experienced Associate Director to lead the delivery of Data Centre projects across the UK. This role can be based at our Newark, Birmingham, or London office locations with hybrid working.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead Data Centre projects from startup to completion, ensuring adherence to budget and schedule.
  • Oversee due diligence and full-service design projects, providing leadership in in-house planning and permitting, civil and structural engineering, MEP, security, fire engineering, CDM, BSA, and other relevant specialisms.
  • Guide projects through conceptual, schematic, and detailed design, and construction documents and administration.
  • Set standards, mentor, and coach the team to ensure excellence in technical delivery within the data centre sector.
  • Extensive experience in co-location and hyper-scale data centre projects, site due diligence, campus master-planning, and conceptual design.
Requirements
  • Proven delivery experience in the Data Centre sector.
  • Strong leadership and project management experience.
  • Market leading remuneration package including company car or allowance in lieu.
