Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Employee Relations Advisor to join our client's expanding team. As a Regional ER Advisor, you will play a key role in advising and guiding managers on employee relations matters, including disciplinary and welfare cases, capability, grievance, and coaching managers where appropriate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advise and support managers on employee relations matters, including disciplinary and welfare cases, capability, grievance, and coaching managers where appropriate.
  • Manage cases effectively, including employment tribunals.
  • Develop strong relationships within the business to promote good employee relations across the organisation.
  • Proactively identify trends and potential issues, offering advice and suggestions.
  • Support on ad-hoc HR projects as required.
  • Regular business travel to guide and support on cases face to face.

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Competent IT skills.
  • Good knowledge of employment law.
  • Knowledge of ER procedures and processes, including employment tribunals, disability, diversity, and equal opportunities.
  • Ideally multisite experience.
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfortable working autonomously while managing a large number of cases simultaneously.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels.
