This role will be instrumental in managing all our client relationships, nurturing strong partnerships, and ensuring the best quality service is given, whilst aligning them with appropriate solutions and services offered by our company.

As a Technical Account Manager, you will have a full understanding and appreciation of our clients' technological landscapes and be able to drive both the best level of current support and the development of their IT.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Account Manager or Technical Manager looking for a change of direction, to join a dynamic and growing company like Datcom.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as the main point of contact for our clients, building trust, credibility, and owning and maintaining the relationship.
  • Liaise with the client and our internal teams to understand client needs and objectives, providing proactive support and advice, as well as fast and thorough reactive response to queries.
  • Work closely with our Account Director and Sales Team to develop strategic plans to expand business within targeted clients.
  • Conduct contract renewals, engage in pricing negotiations on contracts and service provision, maximizing value for both Datcom and the client.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest market trends, technologies, and versions, ensuring our clients' technical landscapes represent the best solution for them.

About You:

  • Technical IT background - a Microsoft-based technical background is mandatory.
  • Customer-obsessed, with a strong customer-centric focus.
  • Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of an organization, including senior executives and board members.
  • Good business acumen, with an ability to understand small to medium-sized businesses' challenges.

  • Identify and pursue opportunities to expand the account, delivering tailored solutions that meet the client's business objectives.
