We are seeking a skilled Aircraft Painter to join our team at Proactive Personnel Ltd.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a reputable business based at East Midlands Airport, recruiting a number of Paint Sprayers to join their team on a temp-perm basis.
As an Aircraft Painter, you will be responsible for the prepping and spraying of large commercial and private aircraft.
The ideal candidate will be comfortable with a high level of prep work, as the amount of actual time spraying can be minimal.
Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and applying primer
- Following safety guidelines and using protective equipment when working with paints and solvents
- Maintaining a clean and organized work area
Additionally, this role involves a significant amount of learning and development due to the nature of the vehicles being worked on.
Candidates must be comfortable with paperwork and attending classroom learning.
The successful candidate will be paid between £15-£20 per hour, depending on experience, and will work between 40-60 hours per week, including weekends, depending on workload.
