**Role Overview**
We are seeking a skilled HGV Technician to join our team at Rubber Duck Cars. As an HGV Technician, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing heavy goods vehicles. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring our fleet is in top condition, and our customers receive exceptional service.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Conduct routine maintenance on HGVs to ensure optimal performance
* Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues
* Fabricate and weld components as needed
* Assemble and disassemble parts with precision
* Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns
* Operate power tools and forklifts safely and efficiently
* Maintain accurate records of repairs and services performed
**Requirements**
* Proficiency in using hand tools, welding, soldering, and power tools
* Strong customer service skills with a focus on exceeding client expectations
* Ability to assemble, maintain, and repair HGVs effectively
* Prior experience in a similar role is preferred
* Knowledge of electrical systems in vehicles is advantageous
* Forklift operation experience is a plus
