Role of the Optical Assistant

  • Collaborating with an Optometrist to ensure high standards of patient care
  • Dispensing eyewear, including a variety of lenses and frames
  • Conducting delivery of eyewear and follow-up care visits
  • Handling administrative responsibilities such as scheduling appointments and liaising with partners
  • Traveling to various locations as required
  • Working hours: Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM

Requirements for the Optical Assistant

  • Prior experience in an Optical Assistant role
  • Strong communication abilities, including clear verbal and written skills along with active listening
  • Possession of a full, clean driving license

Compensation for the Optical Assistant

  • Salary up to £23,000
  • Company vehicle provided for travel purposes
