Position Overview: Sanitation Specialist

Location: Bestwood Village School

Salary: £11,960.00 per annum

Hours: 20 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Contract Type: Permanent, 52 Weeks

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Sanitation Specialist to become a vital part of our team at Bestwood Village School. In this role, you will play an essential part in ensuring our facilities are clean and welcoming for our pupils, contributing to their comfort and health.

Key Responsibilities:

Your role will be crucial in maintaining the cleanliness standards necessary for our students. You will take pride in performing domestic tasks such as:

• Vacuuming
• Mopping
• Rubbish removal
• Dusting
• General cleaning duties

We are looking for a Sanitation Specialist who shares our commitment to creating a supportive environment for vulnerable young people, ensuring they have the best possible experience.

Qualifications:

While previous experience in a similar role is advantageous, it is not a requirement. We value motivation, personal qualities, and resilience just as much. This position is ideal for individuals transitioning from customer-facing roles in sectors such as retail, hospitality, or leisure, who are eager to make a meaningful impact on the lives of young people.

Bestwood Village School is a new educational establishment set to open soon, designed to accommodate 30 pupils. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the successful launch and development of a brand-new setting, positively influencing the educational journey of our students.
