Electrical Installation Engineer Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Installation Engineer to join our client's team in the Northwest. This is a minimum 3-month contract with the possibility of extension.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation of electrical panels to customer sites within the FMCG industry. Key duties include:

  • On-site installation of panels to mechanical equipment, predominantly conveyors
  • Reading technical electrical engineering drawings
  • Collaborating with panel builders and draughtsmen as needed
  • Ability to assist with mechanical work when required

To be considered for this role, you will need:

  • Extensive experience in electrical engineering, preferably within the FMCG industry
  • Hands-on experience working with components such as drives and motors
  • Ability to read electrical engineering drawings
  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (desirable)

This position offers:

  • Outside IR35 – Limited company contractors
  • Up to 70 hours p/w on-site
  • Day shifts working Monday to Friday with overtime available
