Fixed Asset Accountant

We are seeking a highly skilled Fixed Asset Accountant to join our financial accounts team. As a key member of the team, you will play a pivotal role in developing and maintaining all aspects of the fixed asset process.

• Consolidate a Fixed Asset Register (FAR) on a period-by-period basis to support the year-end process and reconciliation.
• Provide support to the budgeting and forecast function, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Build relationships with the wider business on items of a capital nature, fostering a collaborative environment.
• Process and monitor additions and disposals accurately, mitigating risk and ensuring compliance with UK Accounting Standards.
• Deal with ad hoc requests proactively, demonstrating a proactive and positive approach to tasks.

• CIMA or ACCA qualified.
• Experience in the transacting and controlling of all aspects of fixed assets.
• Understanding of UK Accounting Standards.
• Proficiency in advanced Excel functions.
• Knowledge of finance system management and internal control.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
