Role Summary

We are collaborating with a forward-thinking organization that is transforming the eCommerce landscape through its advanced retail intelligence platform. This platform aggregates extensive product data and employs AI/ML to streamline PPC advertising, yielding significant business outcomes.

This role is primarily remote, requiring only one in-office day per week for collaboration with product and engineering leaders. The engineering team also convenes quarterly for in-person team-building events.

The ideal candidate will be a passionate Engineering Lead eager to leverage cutting-edge technologies and contribute significantly to the company's ambitious objectives. The technology stack includes TypeScript, NextJS/React, Python, MongoDB, Kafka, Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS.

As the Engineering Lead, you will work closely with the product engineering team to craft elegant and impactful solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop clean, maintainable, and efficient code in line with industry standards.
  • Engage with non-technical stakeholders to translate vague requirements into high-quality software solutions.
  • Lead the resolution of technical challenges and make pivotal decisions that shape the project's success.
  • Act as a senior engineering leader, mentoring and supporting the growth of team members.
  • Facilitate daily stand-ups and retrospectives to enhance the development process continuously.
  • Monitor and enhance application performance.
  • Stay updated with emerging technologies and programming languages relevant to the project, conduct demonstrations, and foster discussions within the engineering team.
