HR Business Partner

Supported by the MD who recognises the importance of driving HR initiatives to enhance business performance, and reporting to the HR Director, you will enjoy a busy, varied hybrid role in which you will:
Key Responsibilities:- Manage your own designated area of the business, driving growth and improvement through effective HR strategies.
- Handle end-to-end recruitment, including onboarding, to ensure seamless integration of new talent.
- Deliver inductions that set the tone for a positive workplace culture.
- Support and advise Line Managers on ER, including disciplinary, grievance, performance management, and complex case work.
- Attend disciplinary and grievance meetings, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Monitor and manage absence, working closely with Line Management to identify and address underlying issues.
- Support Line Management on short and long-term sickness, attending meetings and liaising with Occupational Health where necessary.
- Work closely with Line Management to identify and support training needs across the designated area.
- Promote a positive workplace culture, assisting with regular Employee Voice focus groups and attending Employee Committee meetings.
- Contribute to wider strategic HR projects across the business, driving innovation and improvement.
The successful candidate will have:
- Ideally, a CIPD qualification or studying towards.
- Solid HR generalist experience, with a strong understanding of ER and recruitment.
- Manufacturing or retail experience could be beneficial, but is not essential.
