Position Summary: The ideal candidate will possess a proactive attitude and have substantial experience in line maintenance. This role requires the ability to lead a team and adapt to the dynamic demands of the aviation industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Report directly to the Technical Operations Manager for Learjet/Challenger.
  • Oversee the maintenance of the AOG support fleet, specifically Challenger 3500 aircraft.
  • Manage Aircraft on Ground (AOG) recovery operations across the airline's network.
  • Ensure a safe and compliant working environment by adhering to all relevant policies and regulations.
  • Supervise and mentor Aircraft Mechanics and Apprentices.
  • Conduct scheduled maintenance and defect rectification.
  • Perform occasional 'flying spanner' duties as required.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Proven experience in Aircraft Line Maintenance (Essential).
  • Type rating for Bombardier Challenger 300 Series.
  • Holders of EASA or UK CAA Part-66 B1 License (Essential).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills (Essential).
  • Good IT skills, with experience in AMOS being desirable.
  • Type rating for Learjet 40/45 is advantageous.

Additional Requirements:

All candidates must have the right to work and travel in the UK and possess a Full UK Driving Licence.
