Join Our Team as a Senior Buyer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Buyer to play a key role in the development and execution of our sourcing strategy. As a Senior Buyer, you will be responsible for leading the category management process to drive productivity and efficiency improvements.

About the Role

As a Senior Buyer, you will work closely with the business and external partners to deliver 'best in class' supplier relationship management. This includes evaluating and managing supplier performance to drive continuous improvement.

You will have the opportunity to leverage the global buying power of the Linde group, collaborating with regional and global teams to share learnings and best practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the category management process to drive productivity and efficiency improvements
  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies to meet business needs
  • Evaluate and manage supplier performance to drive continuous improvement
  • Collaborate with regional and global teams to share learnings and best practices
  • Work closely with the business to deliver 'best in class' supplier relationship management
Requirements
  • Education to degree level or A level with significant relevant working experience in a similar industry or procurement environment
  • CIPS (Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply) qualification/s or working towards this is an advantage
  • Previous working experience in category management
  • Good level of commercial and business acumen
  • A basic knowledge of what makes a good contract, ideally with experience in contract drafting
