We are excited to announce an opening for an experienced Team Manager to oversee a dedicated team within our warehouse operations. This role is essential for ensuring that we meet our customer service commitments in terms of quality, cost efficiency, and lead times while driving productivity.

This position reports directly to a Shift Manager and offers a competitive salary range of £28,000 - £30,000 per annum, along with a comprehensive benefits package.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prioritize safety above all else, fostering a culture of safe working practices to maintain a secure environment for all personnel.
  • Lead and optimize warehouse operations to meet standards of cost efficiency, quality, and productivity, ensuring exceptional service levels for our customers.
  • Support a team of operational staff across various shift patterns, providing guidance and leadership.
  • Ensure compliance with legislative and company policies, emphasizing health and safety at all times.
  • Proactively manage and communicate working procedures, swiftly addressing any operational issues that arise.
  • Oversee employee attendance, conduct, and performance in alignment with company policies.
  • Identify and implement innovative initiatives that enhance operational effectiveness and add value.
  • Focus on customer satisfaction by achieving Key Performance Indicators and delivering on time and within budget.
  • Facilitate the recruitment and onboarding of new team members, creating an inclusive and welcoming environment.
