We are seeking an experienced Children's Social Worker to join our Assessment Team in North Somerset. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for assessing the needs of children and families, and developing effective plans to support their well-being.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct thorough assessments of children's needs, gathering and analysing information to inform decision-making.
- Develop and implement effective plans to support children and families, working collaboratively with other agencies and professionals.
- Take part in strategy meetings and contribute to the development of multi-agency plans to protect children at risk.
- Carry out direct work with children and young people, building strong relationships and promoting their well-being.
- Work in a strengths-based approach, treating families and colleagues with respect and kindness while prioritising the needs of children and young people.
- A recognised Social Work qualification (Social Work Degree or Diploma in Social Work) and full Social Work England registration.
- Relevant experience in a similar role, with a strong understanding of children's social care principles and practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with children, families, and professionals.
