Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team at Voyage Care Ltd. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life of the people we support, helping them to gain more independence in their daily lives.

About the Role

As a Support Worker, you will be working within a dynamic team to support a fantastic group of people at our supported living service in Gorefield. You will be responsible for teaching new life skills, assisting with personal care, encouraging individuals to access their local communities, socialising, and engaging in various activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support individuals with daily living tasks, such as personal care and meal preparation
  • Encourage and enable individuals to access their local communities and engage in social activities
  • Teach new life skills and promote independence
  • Work collaboratively with the team to provide a high-quality support service
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to be resilient, flexible, and composed in your approach. You should have experience working with individuals with autism and be able to follow Positive Behaviour Support plans and reflective practice.
