We are seeking a caring and compassionate individual to join our team of carers as a Domiciliary Care Assistant. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to make a significant difference in the lives of our service users, providing personal and practical care in their own homes.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Carry out personal and practical care in line with our policies and procedures.
  • Assist with all personal and hygiene care, including dressing/undressing, feeding, toileting, bathing/showering, mouth care, and hair care.
  • Travel from home to home, safely using hoists and other mobility equipment.
  • Report and keep daily records in service users' files.
  • Administer/prompt/assist medication, as required.
  • Provide social support within the clients' own homes.

Requirements:

  • Current driving license and access to a vehicle.
  • Registration with the Northern Ireland Social Care Council (NISCC) and completion of an Access NI check.
  • Weekend availability.
