Building Surveyor

Carbon 60 is seeking a skilled Building Surveyor to join its team in Portsmouth. As a key member of our Public Sector client's building repairs team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the maintenance and improvement of properties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough surveys of our assets to assess their condition and identify necessary repairs.
- Develop and implement effective repair plans to ensure timely and efficient completion of projects.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to investigate complaints and disrepair claims, providing solutions to resolve issues.
- Manage and prioritize repair projects, ensuring accurate stock data and effective resource allocation.
- Support the Building Repairs Manager in ensuring the team's capacity to manage demands and utilize available resources.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in building surveying or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
