Job Summary:

Wood is seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Engineer to join our team. As a Cyber Security Engineer, you will be responsible for managing the cyber security needs of our solutions and 3rd party solutions deployed by Wood.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Discover and mitigate vulnerabilities and risks in networks, software systems, and data centers through ongoing vulnerability scans and monitoring of network data.
  • Ensure hardware and software applications are up-to-date and compliant with relevant standards.
  • Work with clients and stakeholders across Wood to understand their problems and provide solutions that maintain strong cyber security.
  • Collaborate with lead cybersecurity engineers to collect and prioritize cyber security requirements from ongoing projects, proposals, prospects, and overall strategy.
  • Interface with R&D/product management to define cyber security requirements, review proposed enhancements, and communicate with internal teams.

Requirements:

  • Good level of experience in a similar role.
  • Hands-on experience with cybersecurity tools.
  • Good knowledge and understanding of cybersecurity standards, data protection frameworks, and maintaining compliance.
  • Multi-sector knowledge and global project experience in relevant areas.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong understanding of digital twin solution architectures.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Good knowledge of process automation, dynamic/real-time systems, and relevant technologies.
  • Good knowledge and experience in implementing security practices and controls related to architecture, governance, risk, and compliance management.
  • Good knowledge and experience with vulnerability management, risk management, compliance, and penetration testing tools.

Education:

  • Minimum degree-level qualification in engineering, science, computer science, cyber security, or mathematics.
  • Relevant cybersecurity certifications like ISO 27001 or similar.
