Job Title: RFP Writer

At Barings, we are seeking a skilled RFP Writer to join our Global RFP Team. As an RFP Writer, you will be responsible for creating high-quality responses to detailed Request for Proposal (RFP), Request for Information (RFI), Due Diligence Questionnaires (DDQ) and ESG Questionnaires for institutional and wealth clients globally.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain responses to product-specific questions, ensuring accuracy and consistency of company-level language in all external documents.
  • Work closely with client service, business development, client portfolio management, and other functional business areas to ensure seamless collaboration.
  • Manage internal deadlines and ensure timely completion of RFPs, RFIs, DDQs, and ESG Questionnaires.
  • Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to gather information and develop compelling responses.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes within the firm, products, and industry, ensuring that responses are accurate and reflect the latest information.
  • Assist in the on-going enhancement and maintenance of the RFP database of responses.
Requirements:
  • Related work experience in the asset management, financial services, or capital markets industry.
  • RFP process/project management experience and a solid background in the proposal writing process.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work independently on complex projects.
  • Ability to work as part of a collaborative global team and provide guidance/training to staff or business expertise to other associates or business units.
  • Highly organized and able to multi-task in an environment of change.
  • Strong attention to detail, excellent writing, editing, document formatting, and proofreading skills.
  • Experience with proposal writing software, such as Loopio, Qvidian, Responsive, or Rocket Docs (PMAPS).
