Senior Quantity Surveyor Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Nicholas Associates Construction. As a leading groundworks and civil engineering contractor, we pride ourselves on delivering high-quality projects with excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Control costs of groundworks projects to ensure efficient, effective, and profitable delivery.
  • Measure site works accurately and provide early cost advice to clients on variations.
  • Identify commercial risks and develop effective solutions.
  • Collaborate with buyers to undertake cost analysis and advise on procurement and cost control.
  • Produce cost value reports and value completed work for timely payments.
  • Build strong relationships with clients and company production staff.
  • Allocate work to sub-contractors and assist with the development of assistants/trainees.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3-5 years' experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor.
  • Experience working for a residential groundworks sub-contractor.
  • Knowledge of contractual terms within groundworks.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to identify and resolve problems quickly and efficiently.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Team player with strong relationship-building skills.
