About the Role

The IPSPC Supported Employment Officer will play a vital role in supporting residents with mental health needs to access employment opportunities. This is a challenging yet rewarding position that requires a strong understanding of the mental health sector and a passion for helping individuals achieve their career goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with clients to identify their career aspirations and develop personalized employment plans
  • Build relationships with local employers to secure job opportunities and negotiate support for clients
  • Provide expert support and advice to clients, using the Individual Placement & Support (IPS) approach
  • Collaborate with the Employment & Skills team to ensure seamless delivery of employment services
  • Contribute to the development of new employment initiatives and programs
