Senior Management Accountant / Finance Business Partner

Your new role

This senior management accounting position offers a unique opportunity to focus on business partnering and drive performance improvement in a profitable business unit with a turnover exceeding £40 million.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Collaborate with plant operations teams to identify, implement, and track productivity projects, driving efficiency and cost savings.
  2. Evaluate capital investment proposals to ensure alignment with business objectives and strategic goals.
  3. Provide expert financial support to the Finance team on various topics and projects, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
  4. Develop and maintain the cost accounting system, including generating costings for new products and services.
  5. Prepare monthly management accounts and analyze production costs and variances to inform business decisions.

Requirements:

  1. Ideal candidate will be qualified with CIMA, ACCA, or ACA, or have equivalent experience and qualifications.
  2. Prior experience in a manufacturing finance function, with hands-on experience in costing and cost accounting, is highly desirable.
  3. Strong ability to build rapport and working relationships with senior non-finance stakeholders, driving business outcomes and growth.
