Software Engineer Role

CND is seeking an experienced Software Engineer to join our team in Gloucester. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in developing cutting-edge systems and apps with a focus on secure coding practices and DevSecOps principles.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, conduct, and coordinate software development activities
  • Work with customers to ensure products meet standards and needs
  • Document operating instructions and program development
  • Analyze systems to ensure they meet customer demands
Essential Skills:
  • Proficient in Java or Python
  • Good knowledge of developing in a Linux environment
  • Working knowledge of Git version control and GitLabs CI/CD pipelines
  • Experience working with Apache NiFi
  • Some exposure to front-end elements like JavaScript, TypeScript, or React
  • Some data interrogation with ElasticSearch and Kibana
  • Exposure to working with Atlassian products
