The main responsibility involves managing daily operations on-site while providing updates to upper management regarding progress, financials, risks, challenges, and strategies for mitigation.

Additionally, you will be tasked with monitoring key performance indicators related to project delivery. Ensuring compliance with Health and Safety regulations is also a critical aspect of this role.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the project team and supply chain to ensure adherence to budget, timelines, and quality benchmarks.
  • Proactively manage Health and Safety on-site, maintaining safety objectives and encouraging team input for safety enhancements.
  • Regularly engage with clients to build strong relationships and ensure a thorough understanding of their goals, effectively communicating these to the project team.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of project progress, Health and Safety compliance, and risk management.
  • Drive operational excellence through systematic monthly reviews of improvement plans in collaboration with Bid and Pre-construction teams.
  • Embody the core values of our client: being Focused, Approachable, Caring, and Efficient.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Over 10 years of experience in managing Heavy civil projects.
  • Exceptional skills in planning, coordination, communication, team leadership, and project scheduling.
  • Strong understanding of contract conditions, CDM regulations, Design Management, Programme & Risk Management, and financial oversight including forecasting and reporting.
  • Technical expertise in construction methodologies and industry best practices.
  • A valid CSCS card is essential.
  • SMSTS Qualification is required.
  • A degree in Engineering or a related field is preferred.
