Job Description

**Exciting Opportunity for a Financial Expert**

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Management Accountant / Finance Graduate to join our friendly team at Baseline Recruit Ltd. As a key member of our finance department, you will support the Senior Management Accountant with the timely production of Management Accounts for multiple entities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsibility for the timely production of multiple monthly management accounts, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Support regional Management Accountant with month-end activities, including ad-hoc reporting and analysis.
  • Monthly balance sheet reconciliations, including:
    • Fixed Assets
    • Prepayments and accrued income
    • Accruals and deferred income
  • Bank reconciliations completed for all entities
  • Assist with cash management and bank administration
  • Printing out of management accounts for management meetings
  • Investigate significant increases or decreases in costs each month
  • Identification and implementation of better financial processes and controls
  • Assist with the audit process when required
  • Provide ad-hoc analysis or reporting as needed

Requirements:

  • AAT or CIMA or ACCA Part Qualified
  • Experience of posting accruals/prepayment journals
  • Experience of working with non-finance professionals
  • Team player with strong organisational skills
  • Ability to be flexible and adaptable
  • Ability to work quickly and accurately
