Financial Accountant

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Assistant Accountant to join our finance team at O'Hanlon & Farrell Contracts Ltd. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in supporting our financial operations and contributing to the company's continued growth and success.
Key Responsibilities:- Preparation of financial accounts, including quarterly divisional management accounts and year-end management accounts
- Preparation of balance sheet reconciliations and ad-hoc finance reports
- Completion of statutory government returns, including VAT, RCT, and CIS
- Monthly bank reconciliations and management of accounts payable
- Ensuring compliance with company procedures and controls
- Qualified Accounting Technician or Part Qualified Accountant or Qualified by Experience
- A minimum of 4 years' experience in a busy finance function, with experience in the construction industry and Sage
- Excellent systems skills, including a strong grasp of Excel
- Self-motivated and results-oriented, with excellent communication skills and attention to detail
