Key Responsibilities:

As the Kitchen Manager, you will take full ownership of kitchen operations. Your primary goal will be to assist the General Manager in the daily management of the establishment, ensuring that we deliver an unparalleled customer experience while preparing our dishes to perfection. You will adhere to company policies and procedures, complying with all relevant Health & Safety and Food Hygiene regulations, while also playing a crucial role in managing operational costs.

Your Duties Will Include:

  • Overseeing the daily kitchen operations.
  • Managing inventory and food supply levels.
  • Preparing meals according to specifications, emphasizing quality and consistency while maintaining a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Ensuring all deliveries are inspected for quantity, quality, and expiration dates, and stored properly following company protocols.
  • Managing opening and closing tasks, ensuring they are completed to company standards.
  • Addressing maintenance issues and reporting them appropriately.
  • Facilitating key training sessions, identifying team training needs, and addressing capability gaps in collaboration with the management team.
  • Participating in team meetings.
  • Completing all safety system requirements on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis, as necessary.
  • Complying with regulations regarding Security, Health & Safety, Food Hygiene, and Licensing laws as per provided training.
  • Creating staff schedules in alignment with timing deadlines and sales forecasts.
  • Thoroughly explaining and demonstrating allergen procedures.
  • Being mindful of costs and safeguarding profits while responsibly managing business controls.
  • Delivering stock and labor within budget on a weekly basis.
  • Leading kitchen team recruitment and talent development efforts.
  • Managing stock, security, and waste, and implementing strategies to address any concerns.
