Position Overview:

The successful candidate will collaborate with service leaders to oversee the operational management of the Cameo service, which focuses on early intervention in psychosis.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide effective leadership and management of both human and financial resources.
  • Ensure the implementation of evidence-based practices within community settings.

The Service Operations Manager will partner with the Service Manager to execute the NHS Plan and achieve the strategic objectives of the Trust.


Work Schedule:

This role primarily operates Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, with occasional flexibility required in alignment with the responsibilities of the position.


About Cameo:

Cameo is a recognized Early Intervention service within the Cambridgeshire and Peterborough NHS Foundation Trust (CPFT), dedicated to providing assessment, treatment, and support for individuals aged 14 to 65 experiencing first-time psychosis symptoms.


Established in 2002, Cameo has significantly influenced the development of the Early Intervention model both nationally and internationally. The service prides itself on a robust research ethos that is integral to its operations.

The team operates from two locations, ensuring comprehensive coverage for service users.

Quality Assurance:

Collaboration and Professionalism:

The Service Operations Manager will share operational supervisory duties with the clinical team manager, promote carer and service user involvement, and encourage recovery and independence while considering risk assessment and management.


Maintaining professionalism in interactions with service users, carers, colleagues, and external agencies is essential, as is collaborating with other Trust services to ensure seamless care delivery.


The candidate will contribute to the achievement of the service and organizational objectives.
