About the Role
We are seeking a research assistant with expertise in Human-Computer Interaction and an interest in Misinformation/Disinformation, Generative AI and Codesign to work at Northumbria University as part of our research project.
Project Overview
The project aims to design and evaluate learning resources on Misinformation/disinformation and Generative AI to be used with Young Refugees and Asylum Seekers.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to a range of activities including scoping existing learning resources, co-design workshops, focus groups and the piloting and evaluation of learning resources.
- Collaborate with other members of the research team to achieve project goals.
- Support research with 10-18 year old Refugees and Asylum Seekers.
Requirements
The position is fixed-term for 12 months on a part-time basis. The role is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974, therefore the successful candidate will be subject to a Disclosure and Barring Service check.
