Care Driver Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Care Driver to join our team at Beechwood College. As a Care Driver, you will play a vital role in supporting our service users to access appointments and community facilities, ensuring their safety and security at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Transport service users to appointments and community facilities, using company vehicles.
  • Ensure the safe and secure transportation of service users, adhering to health and safety protocols.
  • Manage vehicle maintenance, including daily and weekly checks, to ensure vehicles are clean and well-maintained.
  • Liaise with colleagues to coordinate service user needs and schedules.
  • Pick up prescriptions and medication, in accordance with company policy and procedure.
  • Organize working day/time management to meet service user needs.

Requirements:

  • Valid Driving License D1
  • Ability to work towards/undertake necessary qualifications to meet registration requirements with Social Care Wales.
