Job Description

We're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Data Consultant to join our Experian Data Quality team in Leeds, working in a hybrid environment.

This is an ideal position for a data expert with experience managing client relationships, providing consultative guidance on data management and data governance principles.

As a Senior Data Consultant, you will be responsible for designing and managing databases/data flows to ensure smooth business operations for our clients.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop conceptual data models to improve processes and add strategic value to the business.
  • Work with Data Architects, Data Owners, and IT Subject Matter Experts to analyze, document, and improve data quality across applications.
  • Examine data, processes, and technologies to evaluate the current state and critical problems for both internal operations and external client projects.
  • Be the subject matter expert for data management, data warehousing, data integration, data migration, business intelligence, analytics, and delivery across advisory and technical delivery projects.
Qualifications
  • Experience with analytics and data science, and technical expertise regarding data models and database design.
  • Experience working with data processing tools such as Informatica, Talend, Alteryx.
  • Experience of the full data migration process, source to target data mapping and data cleansing, data discovery, data analysis, data profiling techniques and procedures.
  • Technical expertise in MS SQL or Oracle SQL and creating a data dictionary.
  • Client-facing management experience.
