About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Site Agent to join our Infrastructure team. As a key member of our project delivery team, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful delivery of our infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and coordinate the activities of the project team to ensure timely and within-budget delivery.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and supply chain partners.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Lead and motivate the site team to achieve project goals and objectives.
  • Identify and mitigate risks, and implement corrective actions as necessary.
  • Monitor and report on project progress, including budget, schedule, and quality.
  • Collaborate with the design team to ensure that designs are safe, buildable, and timely.
  • Work with the commercial team to manage change and ensure that all procurement activities are conducted in accordance with company policies.
  • Ensure that all pre-commencement and regulatory requirements are discharged prior to work commencing.
  • Plan and prepare for delivery of the Scheme throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Ensure that all Temporary Works (TW) processes are implemented, TW requirements are understood and designed in a timely manner and implemented and monitored on site.
  • Ensure a Utility Service Coordinator is appointed and that all company permit to work systems are followed.
  • Plan, prepare and oversee the establishment of the site offices and compound.
  • Champion the use of innovative technologies and techniques.
  • Manage risk & opportunities in conjunction with the Risk Manager and SPM.
  • Ensure any incidents/accidents are thoroughly investigated, closed out and learnings implemented.
  • Take ownership for the delivery and quality of work to the required standards.
  • Manage the Construction Teams and Supply Chain partners to ensure delivery of the Scheme (or Section) in line with the agreed Budget, Programme and Scope.

  • Promote a positive safety, quality and FREDIE culture.
  • Proven experience in successfully managing teams and contributing to their professional development.
  • Strong project management capabilities able to showcase a track record of delivering to clients expectations.
  • Well-developed communication skills with experience dealing with clients and supply chain.
  • Strong knowledge of CDM.
  • Excellent knowledge of NEC and commercially astute.
  • Strong leadership and delegation skills.
  • Design and Build / ECI experience within infrastructure.
