Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive HGV Class 1 vehicles in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all relevant regulations and company policies.
  • Ensure timely delivery of goods, meeting customer expectations and company deadlines.
  • Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections of vehicles, reporting any defects or issues to the maintenance team.
  • Maintain accurate records of driving hours, fuel consumption, and vehicle maintenance.
  • Collaborate with dispatchers and other drivers to optimize routes and ensure smooth operations.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience driving HGV Class 1 vehicles in the UK.
  • Valid UK C+E category license.
  • Valid Tacho and CPC.
  • Over 23 years old and no more than 6 points on your license.
