Job Summary:

Llamau Limited is seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Mediation Worker. As a key member of our Early Identification, Intervention and Prevention Services (EIIPS), you will play a vital role in reducing and ultimately eradicating youth homelessness in South East Wales.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide preliminary advice, advocacy, and support to young people in partnership with Advice and Support Workers.
  • Explore all aspects of potential prevention of homelessness in partnership with Mediation Workers / Advice Workers and partner agencies.
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with partnership agencies to ensure seamless support for young people.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve the highest possible outcomes for individual's lives.

Requirements:

  • A forward-thinking attitude to crisis response and the ability to remain calm and collected in challenging situations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with young people, colleagues, and partner agencies.

Contract Details:

  • Part-time contract with 21 hours per week + on-call duties.
