Mobile Catering Team Member

About the Role

We are seeking a committed individual to join our catering team as a Mobile Catering Team Member. As part of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality, healthy meals for school children in various schools across Lancashire.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare the dining area for service, including setting up and cleaning equipment.
  • Assist in the preparation, cooking, and serving of food and beverages.
  • Clean all equipment and catering areas.
  • Run units in the absence of a Unit Manager.

Requirements

  • Ability to work as part of a team.
  • Ability to work under pressure and use own initiative.
  • Good customer care skills.
  • Previous catering and food preparation experience is essential.
  • Essential car user (must have a clean license and transport).

Working Hours/Days

  • Monday to Friday.
  • Term time only.
  • 16.25 hours per week, although hours are variable depending on school meal uptake and service needs.
