Senior EDS Engineer

Forseven, an innovative organization committed to transforming the electric vehicle sector through advanced technology and pioneering engineering methodologies, is currently in search of a Senior EDS Engineer to become a vital part of their energetic Engineering team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish electrical interfaces across all functional teams
- Oversee commodity characteristics including quality, cost, timing, and weight
- Ensure commodities are delivered within financial constraints
- Supervise external suppliers or circuit design engineers
- Assist in the design and development of low voltage wiring, fusing systems, component packaging, and electrical power distribution
- Manage suppliers for build-to-print projects
- Provide direction for proper wiring and placement of electrical hardware
- Participate in system evaluations, verification, and validation processes
- Identify and rectify faults, managing issues to resolution
- Take ownership of harness releases and change control management
- Lead DFMEA, Routing Quality Assessment, DVP&R, and Engineering Sign-off processes
- Coordinate with Tier 1 suppliers and collaborate with Procurement, Logistics, and Quality teams
- Offer support and training to Manufacturing and Service divisions
Experience and Qualifications:
- Comprehensive understanding of the Automotive New Product Development Process
- Proven experience in automotive electrical wiring and power distribution system design
- Familiarity with vehicle electrical systems and components
- Expertise in designing for optimal electrical and EMC performance
- Strong connections within the EDS supplier ecosystem
- Experience with hybrid and fully electric vehicle architectures
- Proficiency in CATIA V5 or V6
- Preferred experience in circuit design, wiring systems, and electrical packaging
- Solid understanding of 2D drawings and electrical circuits
- Experience in APQP, six sigma, or similar methodologies
- Experience leading DFMEA and System Reviews
- Working knowledge of relevant regulations and standards
- Experience in harness testing and validation processes
- Ability to utilize engineering development tools and collaborative platforms such as Microsoft Office 365
