The Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Mentoring and Employment Support Officer to join our team at Novax Recruitment Ltd.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering a comprehensive mentoring and employability service to support young people aged 16 to 24 who are not in education, employment, or training (NEET).

The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of the current and developing national context in which Careers information advice and guidance for young adults sits.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing one-to-one mentoring and support to young people to help them develop their confidence and skills.
  • Working closely with local youth and community organisations to identify and engage with young people who are furthest from the labour market.
  • Developing and implementing effective support plans to help young people achieve their employment goals.
  • Collaborating with other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to supporting young people.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of young people and has the skills and experience to deliver high-quality mentoring and employability services.

Requirements:

  • Extensive knowledge of the current and developing national context in which Careers information advice and guidance for young adults sits.
  • Enhanced DBS is desirable.
