Location: Sheffield

Salary: £80 - £100 per day

Contract: Full Time

Are you committed to fostering a positive learning environment and enhancing the educational experience for students? GSL Education is on the lookout for a dedicated Educational Support Specialist to become a vital part of our dynamic team in a Secondary School setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support educators in delivering captivating and interactive lessons.
  • Work with students individually and in small groups to help them overcome learning challenges.
  • Implement pre-designed lesson plans for students needing extra assistance.
  • Monitor students during classroom activities, ensuring their safety and well-being.
  • Assist in the development and preparation of educational materials and resources.
  • Collaborate with educators and guardians to provide consistent updates on student progress.

Qualifications:

  • Possess a Level 3 Teaching Assistant Certificate, Diploma, or an equivalent qualification.
  • Previous experience in an educational environment is advantageous.
  • Ability to engage effectively with young individuals and establish positive relationships.
  • Confidence in managing classroom behavior.
  • Knowledgeable about various additional needs, including ASC, ADHD, and SEMH.
  • Strong communication and management skills to foster an inclusive learning atmosphere.
  • Passionate about education and dedicated to helping young learners achieve their academic aspirations.
