The ideal candidate will provide first-line maintenance response to all breakdowns, minimizing downtime and disturbance to operations.
Duties of the Maintenance Technician:
- To ensure all work is carried out safely, adhering to current health, safety, and environmental legislative standards and company procedures.
- Respond to breakdowns in various environments, including industrial, office, and laboratory settings, aiming to ensure facilities are available for use.
- Effective troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of equipment and systems, such as overhead cranes, compressors, extraction systems, and building management systems.
- Site services include electrical distribution, compressed air, and water systems.
Requirements of the Maintenance Technician:
- Maintenance technician experience in an industrial environment is essential.
- Experience with computerized maintenance management systems.
- Able to work efficiently with Microsoft Office-based software.
- PLC, BMS, and systems fault finding.
- Operation of mobile access equipment.
- Role is subject to SC clearance.
- Full driving license due to business location.
