About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join our team at The Tower School, part of Options Autism. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our students with Autism, helping them to achieve their full potential and reach their goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support students with Autism in a variety of classroom settings, including indoor and outdoor activities
  • Assist with lesson planning and preparation, ensuring that students receive a tailored and engaging education
  • Provide emotional and physical support to students, helping them to develop their social and communication skills
  • Work collaboratively with the teaching team to ensure that students receive a comprehensive and inclusive education
Requirements
  • English and Maths Level 2 Pass
  • Experience working with students with Autism or special needs
  • Ability to work as part of a team and provide excellent support to students

The Tower School is an independent special day school for students with Autism, aged 11-18. Our dedicated team works together to ensure successful outcomes for our students, who often arrive at the school with a troubled view of education and life.
