We invite you to become a part of our Payroll Team at Refresco as a Compensation and Benefits Supervisor. In this pivotal role, you will report directly to the Head of Payroll Transformation and Compliance. Your primary responsibility will be to lead, coordinate, and oversee all payroll activities and submissions. You will also be tasked with building a high-performing team that includes two Payroll Administrators and one Payroll Officer. Position Details:
Compensation and Benefits Supervisor
Permanent – Hybrid – work 2 days from home
Monday – Thursday 8:30 am – 5 pm and Friday 8:30 am – 4 pm
Candidate Profile:
We are seeking an individual with substantial payroll expertise, ideally with prior managerial or supervisory experience in leading a payroll team. The successful candidate will possess comprehensive knowledge and hands-on experience in payroll calculation and processing. Familiarity with payroll tax inquiries is advantageous, and experience with ADP/People XD systems is beneficial but not essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure the precise and timely processing of monthly salaried and hourly payrolls, including employment changes and benefits.
- Manage payroll data provision to external benefit providers and oversee related tax filings.
- Address payroll disputes and inquiries while maintaining compliance with data protection regulations.
- Oversee the preparation of monthly journals, reconciliations, and pension auto-enrolment processes.
- Collaborate with HR and Finance teams and support audits by providing necessary payroll data.
- Supervise and mentor payroll staff, conducting performance evaluations and promoting a culture of strong controls.
- Continuously assess and enhance payroll policies and provide support for related group initiatives.
