Are you a skilled engineering professional looking to drive your career forward in the automotive industry? We have an exciting opportunity for a Proposals Engineer to join our team at a leading engineering company based in East Grinstead.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and negotiate robust technical and commercial proposals for automation systems within the UK Automotive Industry.
  • Collaborate with customers and internal teams to create innovative solutions that meet specific project requirements.
  • Conduct detailed cost estimates and create project execution timing plans to ensure proposal success.
  • Work closely with the engineering department to provide technical assistance and proposal development support.
  • Manage project timelines to ensure proposals are submitted by the bid due date.
  • Review client purchase orders and manage internal job instructions to ensure project success.
Requirements:
  • Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
  • Proven experience in automotive solutions for engine production lines.
  • Strong analytical and conceptual capabilities with advanced Excel and Microsoft Office skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and excellent customer-facing skills.
  • Resilient, flexible, and committed team player with the ability to work under minimal supervision.

Location:
