In this role, you will leverage your technical knowledge to assist in the financial planning process, conducting thorough research and analysis of diverse financial strategies. You will also be responsible for generating compliant financial planning documentation for our Financial Advisors/Partners to present to clients.

As a Financial Planning Specialist, you will serve as the primary resource for technical inquiries. Your responsibilities will encompass the entire client experience, including researching appropriate solutions, crafting detailed and insightful reports, and collaborating with the Administration team to ensure accurate processing of business operations and updates to systems. Opportunities may arise for you to participate in or even lead client-facing meetings.

Your goal will be to produce well-crafted and meaningful client reports that reflect your meticulous attention to detail and comprehension of their unique needs.

Requirements for Financial Planning Specialist

  • Proven experience as a St. James's Place Paraplanner with strong report writing capabilities
  • Experience with drawdown reviews is essential
  • A Level 4 Diploma is preferred but not mandatory if you possess substantial paraplanning experience
  • Familiarity with Life, Pension, and Investment products is required
