Join Our Team as a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer

Staffline is seeking dedicated and experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineers with a background in food production environments and high-speed manufacturing facilities.

Position Overview:
This is a full-time, permanent role requiring commitment to a rotating shift pattern, including early, late, and night shifts, from Monday to Friday. The role includes a night shift every fifth week.

Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain all manufacturing equipment and facilities in optimal condition.
- Enhance equipment reliability by increasing mean time between failures and minimizing mean time to repair.
- Conduct both electrical and mechanical maintenance tasks.
- Execute repairs on various types of machinery and equipment safely and professionally.
- Collaborate in developing and implementing planned preventative maintenance schedules (PPM).
- Complete PPM tasks and planned work orders as required.
- Assist specialist engineers during their visits.
- Report breakdown causes, equipment issues, and concerns to the line manager.
- Troubleshoot minor repair issues effectively.
- Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) efficiently.
- Prioritize and plan workload to support production and optimize working time.
- Contribute to achieving daily production targets.
- Accurately complete job tickets and CMMS upon work completion.

Typical Duties:
Respond to maintenance requests, diagnose faults, perform repairs, and restore equipment to operational status. All tasks should be executed in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to dynamic risk assessment processes.

Health and Safety Responsibilities:
- Comply with the Health & Safety Policy to identify, assess, and control hazards.
- Actively manage personal health, safety, and wellbeing, as well as that of colleagues.
- Ensure a safe working environment free from risks.

Qualifications:
- Experience in a food manufacturing setting.
- Multi-skilled in both electrical and mechanical disciplines.
- Relevant qualifications such as City & Guilds in Electrical and Mechanical Engineering.
- Strong prioritization skills.
- Excellent communication abilities across multiple departments.
- Team-oriented approach.
