As a Community Staff Nurse specializing in diabetes, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to patients across various healthcare settings.
Key Responsibilities- Offer expert advice and guidance to patients with diabetes and their families, collaborating closely with other healthcare professionals.
- Deliver specialized diabetes education and support programs within secondary, community, and primary care environments.
- Provide comprehensive health promotion and clinical expertise to patients, caregivers, and relatives.
- Actively involve patients in the planning, delivery, and evaluation of their care through education and expert clinical skills.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of diabetes services across BCUHB.
You will be an integral member of a multidisciplinary team, working collaboratively with colleagues to enhance patient care and service delivery. Your expertise will also contribute to the education and professional development of staff involved in diabetes care.
Desired Skills and Attributes- Strong clinical knowledge and experience in diabetes management
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teaching skills
