As a Community Staff Nurse specializing in diabetes, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to patients across various healthcare settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Offer expert advice and guidance to patients with diabetes and their families, collaborating closely with other healthcare professionals.
  • Deliver specialized diabetes education and support programs within secondary, community, and primary care environments.
  • Provide comprehensive health promotion and clinical expertise to patients, caregivers, and relatives.
  • Actively involve patients in the planning, delivery, and evaluation of their care through education and expert clinical skills.
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of diabetes services across BCUHB.
Collaboration and Development

You will be an integral member of a multidisciplinary team, working collaboratively with colleagues to enhance patient care and service delivery. Your expertise will also contribute to the education and professional development of staff involved in diabetes care.
