Compensation: £14.37 per hour

Core Duties:

  • Execute MIG welding processes to construct metal skips, ensuring durability and quality standards.
  • Weld all four sides of each skip, confirming that all welds are robust and comply with safety regulations.
  • Read and interpret technical schematics and specifications to accurately perform welding tasks.
  • Conduct inspections and tests on welds to guarantee they meet established quality and safety criteria.
  • Maintain a tidy and organized work area, following all safety guidelines.
  • Promptly report any concerns or defects to the supervisor.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience as a MIG Welder, ideally in skip fabrication or a related industry.
  • Capability to produce a minimum of four skips daily while upholding high-quality standards.
  • Skilled in reading and understanding technical drawings and specifications.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and a dedication to delivering high-quality results.
  • Able to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Good physical fitness and stamina to meet job demands.
  • Dependable and punctual with a strong commitment to work ethics.
