Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Strategic Planning Manager to join our team at CS Construction Staffing. As a key member of our planning department, you will be responsible for leading the planning and development of residential projects from concept to completion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out planning and development appraisals, prepare and submit planning applications, and manage the planning process for residential projects.
- Develop and implement planning strategies to promote medium and long-term development sites through the plan-making process.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders, external consultants, and local planning authorities to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Prepare and project manage different types of planning applications, including Outline, Full, and Reserved Matters.
- Monitor development plan progress and associated evidence-based and policy documents within each local planning authority area.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working for a UK house builder in the field of development management/planning policy.
- Degree/Masters Planning Degree with an RTPI accreditation and a rounded knowledge of town planning.
- Ability to adapt to change and work accurately and efficiently under pressure.
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- Full UK driving license.
