Job Type: Full-time

Location: Remote (with occasional on-site visits)

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Strategic Planning Manager to join our team at CS Construction Staffing. As a key member of our planning department, you will be responsible for leading the planning and development of residential projects from concept to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out planning and development appraisals, prepare and submit planning applications, and manage the planning process for residential projects.
  • Develop and implement planning strategies to promote medium and long-term development sites through the plan-making process.
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders, external consultants, and local planning authorities to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Prepare and project manage different types of planning applications, including Outline, Full, and Reserved Matters.
  • Monitor development plan progress and associated evidence-based and policy documents within each local planning authority area.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working for a UK house builder in the field of development management/planning policy.
  • Degree/Masters Planning Degree with an RTPI accreditation and a rounded knowledge of town planning.
  • Ability to adapt to change and work accurately and efficiently under pressure.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills.
  • Full UK driving license.
